Running Mate
I am looking for a running mate for my Vice-president. Any suggestions? I was thinking Bruce Willis and once elected making Sylvester Stallone Secretary of Defense. Of course Chuck Norris is a lock for the head of the Secret Service once I'm elected!
This will be my first televised speech. short but to the point! Remember, every vote counts.
Today I stand before you and look out at the faces that are still awaiting the promised change. I see much disappointment in the eyes that look back at me. 3 years have come and gone and so far the only change that we have seen is that the government has gotten even larger.
How large? you may be asking yourselves. Well, on the way here to make this speech I pulled into the local Micky G's and ordered a Big O burger with extra government cheese. I handed the lady at the first window a $20.00 bill and awaited my change. The nice young lady working the window just stared at me blankly as I held my hand out. Finally the young lady spoke. "Sir, you still owe me .72 cents. I shook my head as a handed the nice girl three quarters and told her to keep the change. I pulled away and ate my burger which seemed to actually be a smaller portion than I remembered from 3 years ago.
After leaving here I pulled into the nearest gas station and filled my car with regular petrol. After getting ten gallons I went inside and handed the government agent now in control of the station his $100.00 and was about to leave when he asked me if I had recieved my microchip implant yet. I politely told him that I had not nor would I ever be receiving any sort of implant. He then informed me that by law I had two years to receive this implant or face possible arrest. I shook my head in disgust and left the government owned station.
Our government has continued to grow beyond anything we could imagine. I will probably be arrested for saying this word but we need GOD back in this country. If you would like to see God back in this country, back in our government, back in our schools and above all else back in our lives, then I urge you to vote for me in November.
I say to you, the American people, the true government in this country that it is time to embrace the hope but the democrats can keep the change.
